How do I get a copy of a particular document or minutes of a meeting?

This is considered a “public records” request. You must provide a written request to the Town Clerk located on the 1st Floor of the Eastern Bank Building at:
20 Centre Street
Middleborough, MA 02346

Public Records Request

The Town Clerk will date stamp your request and forward it to the department that maintains the documents you are seeking. A cost estimate for research time and fees for photocopies will be provided to you within four days of receipt of your request. At this time, you can decide if you wish to move forward with the request. The Town has 10 days to respond to a public record’s request. Please note, however, minutes of meetings can also be obtained for free through the Select Board's page.
